  1. Scientific Facts in the Bible

The Bible contains scientific facts only God could have known. But why doesn't it present the blueprints for modern technology? Answer: Mankind has proven to be poor stewards of advanced technology. We have already contaminated much of the planet, and could destroy earth with nuclear weapons at any moment. The Bible foresaw modern technology (Daniel 12:4), but indicates it will shortly be taken from us. It’s worth noting modern science was founded by sincere Christians such as Issac Newton and Francis Bacon to name a few.

The Bible is contrary to the desires of mankind.

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. - Matthew 6:19-21

  1. God promised to preserve His words

We know the Bible is God’s preserved word because of His promises…

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. - Isaiah 40:8 (Psa. 12:6-7)

That was written 2,700 years ago, God’s word still stands today. If God can create a universe surly He can preserve His words for each generation.

Likewise Jesus said this 2,000 years ago:

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. - Matthew 24:35 (Mt. 5:18)

That’s a promise from both the Old and New Testament of the Bible. Stand on the promises of God.
