Read Jesus
The greatest proof is simply reading the Bible for yourself, and the best place to start reading are Jesus' words. I personally came to believe the Bible by reading Matthew, which is the first book of the New Testament.

John 1:1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Romans 1:20-25

Mathew 7:13-29

29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
